An Apple ID, also known as an iTunes account, is a must-have for Apple users. It is very versatile and useful, especially if you have iPads, iPhones, or iPods. With an iTunes account, you can buy apps, movies, and music at the App Store and iTunes Store. This will enable you to setup and utilize iOS devices. Additionally, you will be able to access and use native Apple apps such as iCloud, FaceTime, iTunes Match, and iMessage among others.
Step 1: Create An iTunes Account
iTunes accounts are free and simple to set up. To create iTunes account, launch the iTunes program.Then, click on the iTunes Store button located at the top right corner.The iTunes Store will load. Step 3: Enter Account Information

At the next screen, enter the e-mail address you want to use for this account. Then, create a password.iTunes will provide you with guidelines for creating a secure password. This includes the use of numbers and a combination of lowercase and uppercase letters.Fill out the security questions and their corresponding answers.Enter your birthday.Tick the checkboxes if you want to subscribe to Apple’s newsletters.
You will also have the option of including a rescue e-mail. This is the e-mail account where your account credentials can be sent to in case you lose access to your main e-mail address. If you choose to use this, enter a different e-mail address from the one you are using for your iTunes store login. Also ensure that you have constant access to it since a rescue e-mail address would be of no use if you cannot get into that account.
Click the “Continue” buttonwhen you are finished.
Step 4: Enter Billing Information
Next, enter the payment method you want billed every time you make a purchase at the iTunes Store. Among your options are MasterCard, Discover, Visa, AmEx, and PayPal. You also have to provide the billing address of your card and the three-digit security code.
Click the “Create Apple ID” button upon completion.
Step 5 (Optional): Enable Additional Features
